I’d love to hear a podcast on felting crochet.

  4. By aidrean on May 5, 2008 | Reply

This is actually my first time at this site, there’s a lot here!

After looking around a bit, I really can’t think of anything I’d add to the site. I haven’t listened to the podcast, though.

I’m so excited about the CnK giveaways!

I’ve been here a couple of times for your video tutorials (I’ve dabbled in tunisian crochet) and would love to see more!

I always think having Surveys is a good idea. Your readers/listeners will have that fun feeling of participating, plus that way you can glean all sorts of useful information about your audience and their wishes/opinions.

I would be interested in tutorials on crochet techniques for knitters–finishing off a neckline so it doesn’t roll, maybe how to use crochet for a provisional cast-on.

  8. By melanie on May 5, 2008 | Reply

I realize this is probably a no-no, but - I’d like to see entries about adding crochet edgings to knitted pieces.

I loved your podcast with Marly. I’d love to hear you do more interviews and have more “guests” on your show. I just love the interplay between 2 people.
Thanks for setting this website up. I think it is a great Idea!!

    Great idea!
Love to see very clear tutorials and FOs.

Yea, I’m the first poster! Or does that make me look like a stalker? Hmmm…
Things I want to hear/read: I enjoy the technical “learn to crochet” content, but I also enjoy the personal stuff about your life. It’s a good balance. One subject in particular I’d be interested in you touching on is yarn selection: especially in your original patterns, how did you come to choose that specific yarn/fiber?
    Keep up the good work!

Garment shaping in crochet is something I want to hear more about.

  13. By Danielle M on May 5, 2008 | Reply

    Wonderful idea!

Love the stitch guides. We have different names for the stitches or is it different stitches for the names! here in Ireland. That’ll be very handy as I’ve printed the stashbuster baby blanket and am off to grab the hook and stash. Thanks.

  15. By Lisa on May 5, 2008 | Reply

I need general crochet stuff. I’m a newbie.

  16. By Lacey on May 5, 2008 | Reply

I’m all about the toys. I love amigurimi (sp) and making fun, quick projects with my hook. I can’t stray too far or too long from my pointy sticks. :D

Hmmm…. patterns, patterns, & more patterns! Thanks!

  18. By Lara on May 5, 2008 | Reply

I love yarn reviews. Pictures of the yarn worked up would be great.

  19. By Krystal B. on May 5, 2008 | Reply

I just stumbled upon this from Ravelry, and I’m soooo excited!!!

I would like to see more patterns for wearables. I’m especially into Skirts right now for spring and summer.

This is my first time here… I love it and wouldn’t change a thing!!!

I agree with several people and would like to see info about felted crochet and adding crochet to knitted items. Great site though! Oh, more free patterns too, because who doesn’t want more of those. ;)

I love, love, love the videos you offer. Please continue to add to these; any tips or techniques you’d like. I’m about to begin teaching crochet classes at my LYS and I’m referring my “students” to your site for help when I’m not around.

  26. By Sara on May 6, 2008 | Reply

I would love to see a video tutorial on blocking. I have heard about it, but have never seen it done.

Thanks! Keep up the amazing work!

Bags. Bags. Can’t get enough bags. Bags for shopping. Bags for showing off. Bags made from recycled materials.
    Bags.
    Please.

  28. By Mrs. H. on May 6, 2008 | Reply

I would love yarn reviews as well. We just got a LYS in our area, but I never know if that expensive yarn I’m eyeballing is worth the price or not. Thanks for the giveaway!

I’d love to see more patterns and or tutorials, possibly for hairpin lace? Thanks for the chance to win.

  30. By katerina on May 6, 2008 | Reply

I’d love to see more reviews of patterns and designers - do you like their stuff? Do they have good through patterns etc.
    Thanks for the great site!

  31. By Suzanne on May 6, 2008 | Reply

I am a new knitter and self proclaimed addict. But after seeing your site I’m afraid the propensity for becoming a crochet addict lurks! You have wonderful resources for the beginner through the advanced. Thank you for all your time in creating this wonderful site!

  32. By Veronica on May 6, 2008 | Reply

More Tunisian crochet patterns! There aren’t enough good ones (with clear instructions) out there right now.

  33. By Keri on May 6, 2008 | Reply

After looking around your site a bit, I have to say it’s pretty balanced. There’s a good bit of varied content. However, I’m sort of “collecting” stitch patterns right now, and I’m definitely lacking in interesting tunisian crochet stitches. I’d like more of those if ya got ‘em.

  34. By Tasha Ogryzlo on May 6, 2008 | Reply

Crochet techniques for knitters, felting, and also interview. Oh, and more yarn reviews. I likes them.

  35. By rachel on May 7, 2008 | Reply

would love to see more info on crochet felting… and perhaps more comparisons of how yarn behaves differently when crocheting vs. knitting since most store samples are knit

  36. By Lisa L. on May 7, 2008 | Reply

I’d be interested in Tunisian crochet and felting as well1

  37. By Sheila on May 7, 2008 | Reply

I’d like to see some in depth info on Tunisian crochet. I’m both fascinated and intimidated by it :D

  38. By Nicole on May 7, 2008 | Reply

I know people have already mentioned this, but I’d like to see tips and techniques for using crochet in knitting projects.

  39. By Victoria on May 7, 2008 | Reply

I’d love more discussion of combining crochet with knitting also. I’m more of a knitter than a crocheter, but more and more I’m feeling like I’d like to do more to combine the two.

  40. By Cathleen Moses on May 8, 2008 | Reply

Love the podcasts. I’m all about the quick and easy–fast projects, one-skeins stuff (you know– to de-stash). And bags. What is it about bags and crocheters? Oh yeah–another thing to put more stash in! ….justwannacraft,CathyM

Hi! Got here via Ravelry (go figure!) and have just bookmarked you as a ’site-2-b-explored’ — it looks like this may be the place to get me out of my crocheted afghans rut.

I really want to make some amigurami(sp?)so any special help in that area would be awesome!

  43. By becky katz on May 9, 2008 | Reply

I would love to see more crocheted clothing and a large crochet stitch dictionary. Also I would love to see more reviews on what yarn is better for crochet vs. knitting.

  44. By Carla on May 9, 2008 | Reply

I think it would be fun to hear about the winners from the Crochet & Knits Giveaways.

This will be exciting to watch grow!

I agree, as a mostly knitter I need help when I have to do that bit of crocheting on the edges.

  47. By Maureen on May 13, 2008 | Reply

I particularly enjoy the tutorials re: new techniques(i.e. tunisian) and would love to see more. For the podcast, I would like more interviews with designers and yarn folks. Keep up the good work.
