Don’t Write Me Off Just Yet

Title means nothing except that I’ve been listening to the Music and Lyrics soundtrack too much. I can’t help myself! Hugh Grant singing is just too yummy.

Project-wise, I’ve had one tester not be able to get supplies, one tester not get back to me at all, and then I brought up my need in a Ravelry group I’m a part of. Someone answered my call, regardless of never having done tunisian before, and I really think that this is for the best. If an ambitious beginner can tackle these projects, then that’s all the more who can pick it up.As soon as she can fine comparable yarn, she’ll contact me and I’ll send her the directions. I’m not worried about pattern-testing the bag, to be honest. It’s fairly straight forward despite the fact that it’s 98% tunisian stitches. It’s the hat I really need tested, but if I can have someone knock them out for me and verify that everything is awesome, then they’ll be available.

I debated with myself on whether or not I should post photos of the hat and bag. Let them see the project beforehand so they can be eager for the release, one side said. No, no, the other side said. You will only jinx yourself! What it came down to was that I tried very hard to keep it from being completely open. So, if you have me as a Flickr contact, or can find me, then you’ll see them. And if you’re a part of the Ravelry group I posted a call for pattern testers to, then you’ll see them. But you won’t see them here until they’re tested! Hahahaha.

Maybe that isn’t so amusing. If not, just say “oi! meanie head!” and I’ll understand.

Oi! Meanie Head! What is your Flickr handle or how can one find you at Ravelry?

I love when people listen to me. Meanie Head. HAHAHA.

If you have a Ravelry account, just look for “Brianna” or “The Crochet Side” and you should be able to find me there.

As for Flickr, I believe all you have to do is search for “the crochet side”. :)
