    To make a blanket whit that how many would you cast on?

    Hi Kristine! The number you would start out with greatly depends on the hook and yarn size. I recommend either:

    • making a base chain about 12 inches long, then counting the number of chains you have, and multiplying that by the number of feet wide that you want the blanket to be.
    • making a base chain about 1 inch long, then counting the number of chains you have, and multiplying that by the number of inches wide that you want the blanket to be.
