Hi. I am making a scarf calls for this type of stitch. Thank you for your demo. I learned from watching your video, and quickly picked it up.
You are the only one who shows this stitch up close, and explains it along the way. In fact, when I Google, or ask yarn shops about this stitch, they never heard of it, its not in any crochet books that I know of.So, pat yourself on the back for a great job!
I want to give you the instructions, from my book,on how to make this stitch, I don't get it yet, but, if I can't figure it out, I will make the scarf by your directions, Here goes:

* Insert hook down through upper of 4 horizontal lps on post of last st made,yo pull lp through, rep from * with 3 remaining horizontal lps ( 5 lps on hook), insert hook into next st, yo and pull lp through ( 6 lps on hook),(yo and pull through 2 lps) 5 times. "If you could show this it would be great!

Ltrtr at beg of row: ch 6 and treat second, third, fourth and fifth chs from hook as 4 horizontal lps.

This was very helpful... clear directions with enough video to "catch on" to the method. THANK YOU! Your instruction techniques are excellent!

Hi, Could you make the video a little longer so I can see how to do the second row. I love this stitch, but for some reason I can't seem to get the second row right. It would be sooo helpful! Thanks!!

You should definitely try to stop by next year. As Tracie said, it'll be in Orlando. Not sure whether that's further away or closer, but it's definitely an experience you'll want to have. :)

Yay! I'm so glad you came to say hi. I was a nervous wreck until you came in. It was nice to have someone who "got" crochet sitting next to me for the demo. You were my rock, girl!

And I linked to your post 'cause I haven't had time to do a write up yet on my blog. :)

Hi Im making the Ipod case and i dont know if im over thinking it or what but im kinda confused on a couple of things. where it says "Once you’re done, fold the rectangle in half lengthwise. Sc the two pieces together along the longer sides, leaving the shorter side to remain open. Once finished, bind both sides and turn inside out." so i fold it in half check so then i have the one long side and the bottom and the top that are open. so i single crochet the long side together to close and then i sew the bottom shut.. Is that right?

I'll be there on Saturday! I'm teaching a demo on amigurumi to introduce them to the group. :) It's the gateway drug into crochet, ya know? ;-)

Swing in and see me if you're there early enough (I'm teaching around 10ish). I'll probably be hanging around after for a while.

Chocolate. Seriously. Have some dark chocolate then you will be able to squeeze enough hours into the day to work, go to school, finish your *to be published* project. Us listeners will be waiting for you once you've crocheted your fingers to the bone. :)
